ADEA Chapter for Students, Residents and Fellows at UIC Highlights:

Since ADEA at UIC’s official status as a student organization in 2017, our board has tripled in size, membership has increased significantly, and we have become a large part of the community here at the College of Dentistry. Each year, we organize many well attended and unique lunch and learns, and over 30 peer mentoring sessions to help D1, D2, D3, AS2, and AS3’s from clinical, to didactic, to supplemental skills that enhance the educational experience in a variety of ways. We are the voice of student education at UIC and we have truly accomplished so much in the past with the help of our faculty and administrative support.

Say hello to our newest

E-board members!

D1 PMP Liaison: Jessica Poon (left)

Kheya is a D1 originally from Moline, IL. Her favorite part about being a member of ADEA is getting to meet older students and learning more about continuing education in dentistry. A fun fact about Kheya is that she was on a competitive dance team in undergrad and she loves popcorn!

Jessica is a D1 originally from Dunlap, IL. She loves that ADEA gives her more opportunities to communicate with faculty and fellow students. A fun fact about Jessica is that she can speak 4 languages fluently!
