Dr. Graca describes how ADEA can help students who are trying to apply for specialty programs!

"I think my experiences of ADEA really helped bring talking points during my interviews when I was applying for OMFS. I think that some of the experiences from ADEA really helped separate me from other candidates who did not have leadership roles throughout dental school. Having concrete examples and being able to organize larger events gave me the ability to show that I was able to handle increased responsibility which is something programs look for when applying. Having also the ability to mentor younger students was also rewarding. I think overall I had a positive experience with ADEA."
